British media said that Royal Dutch/Shell and PetroChina have made significant progress in the long-awaited Australian natural gas development project.

According to a Reuters report in Melbourne on December 1, Shell and PetroChina's Arrow Energy said the agreement will bring the company's approximately 5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas in Queensland to the market

? "The cooperation will advance the first batch of natural gas output to around 2020, and increase the supply of natural gas in the peak season of the Queensland market by an additional 240 megajoules each year
