Covering area: The new facilities of this project cover an area of about 3,045,028 square meters, of which the newly added area is about 3,020,000 square meters, and the rest are carried out within the existing area of Guangxi Petrochemical
Production time: The designed annual operation time of the refinery unit is 8400h, the designed annual operation time of the chemical unit is 8000h, and the designed annual operation time of the polystyrene unit is 7200h

Relying on the existing 30 sets of main production units, the refining block will build a new 2 million tons/year diesel adsorption dearomatization unit and a 400,000 tons/year carbon 2 recovery unit (including 100,000 tons of catalytic dry gas carbon 2 recovery unit and 400,000 tons of carbon 2 recovery unit) C2 recovery unit, built in the chemical zone)
After the completion of the project, the overall processing flow of the refining block will remain unchanged, and the product plan of some refining products will remain the same as the status quo, but the annual output of gasoline and diesel will be reduced, and a large amount of high-quality raw materials will be provided for the downstream ethylene unit

It mainly processes different types of cracked raw materials from the oil refining block to produce high density polyethylene (HDPE), linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), polypropylene (PP), butadiene, methyl alcohol tert-butyl ether (MTBE), butene-1, hexene-1, solution styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR), styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS), propylene oxide (PO), styrene (SM), polystyrene (PS) and other major chemical products
At the same time, the whole plant's environmental protection measures, storage and transportation system, and public works will be newly built, renovated and expanded or reused according to the process flow
Four new 5,000-cubic-meter styrene storage tanks will be built in the reserved area of the dock storage area; in addition, the existing 13# berth benzene loading facilities will be changed to benzene unloading facilities, and the 11# berth 2 gasoline loading and unloading arms and 1 The diesel loading and unloading arms were changed to benzene, toluene and xylene loading and unloading arms respectively, and styrene loading facilities were added at berth 9#
