    From April 3 to 5, the titanium-based PLE-01 catalyst independently developed by the Research Institute of Petroleum and Chemical Industry was used in the 350,000-ton/year high-density polyethylene production facility of Fushun Petrochemical Corporation.
    The first trial production of large hollow container polyethylene special material FHM8255A was achieved.
    Both the independent catalyst industrial test and the development of high-end products have achieved good results.
    This technology has filled the domestic gap and opened a channel for the development of high-end products of PetroChina's high-density polyethylene.
    Polyethylene special materials for large hollow containers are mainly used to produce hollow container packaging barrels larger than 150 liters, which are suitable for packaging chemicals, food and medicines.
    At present, the domestic market has an annual demand of more than 500,000 tons.
    Domestic manufacturers of this special material use foreign related patented technology to produce it.
    The successful industrial test shows that the titanium-based PLE-01 catalyst independently developed by PetroChina has the ability to produce special materials for serialized hollow containers in the polyethylene process unit.
    Industrial test shows: product switching is smooth, titanium-based PLE-01 catalyst shows good process applicability, catalyst feeding is smooth, activity release process is stable, powder drying process is good, extrusion granulation is smooth, and polymerization activity reaches more than 30,000gPE/gcat (That is, the activity reaches 30,000 grams of polyethylene product per gram of catalyst).
    It is the highest active catalyst in the current production device.
    The quality indicators of the large hollow special materials produced have reached the predetermined value.
