PetroChina Tarim Oilfield's West-East Gas Supply Exceeds 300 Billion cubic meters

As of March 14, PetroChina's Tarim Oilfield has supplied more than 300 billion cubic meters of gas to the central and eastern regions of China through the West-East Gas Pipeline Network System, which is equivalent to 1.

Nearly 18 years after the West-East Gas Pipeline Project was put into operation, Tarim Oilfield has always regarded ensuring national energy security and stable gas supply as its primary political task, promoting natural gas as a growth and strategic project plan, and challenging the world of ultra-deep, ultra-high temperature and ultra-high pressure.

It is estimated that the 300 billion cubic meters of natural gas produced and transported by Tarim Oilfield is equivalent to replacing 400 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 426 million tons, benefiting 15 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities such as Beijing and Shanghai, and more than 120 large and medium-sized cities about 400 million.
