Recently, PetroChina's first 30,000 tons/year flexible comonomer unit of Lanzhou Petrochemical Yulin Branch built using independent research and development of complete sets of technologies has successfully converted to high-quality 1-hexene

The flexible switching production of 1-butene/1-hexene complete set of process technology independently developed by the Institute of Petrochemical Industry solves the problem of coupling and differential process compatibility between the fast and slow reactions in the production process of the two products, and develops an industrial reaction equipment with internal circulation enhanced transmission, external circulation enhanced heat removal and non-ideal by-product polymer online removal, breaking through the technical bottleneck

The first 30,000 tons/year industrial plant applied to this technology was completed in Lanzhou Petrochemical Yulin Branch in August 2021, and after being put into operation on September 6 of that year, it quickly produced high-quality, high-purity 1-butene products
