Maleic anhydride-acrylamide copolymer
[Structural formula]
[Physical and chemical properties] Light yellow water solution, pH 4~5, total solid content is about 30%
.
[Preparation method] Generally, aqueous solution polymerization is adopted, and ammonium persulfate is used as the initiator
.
Take an appropriate amount of deionized water and place it in a polymerization reactor equipped with an electric stirrer, a reflux condenser, and a dropping funnel, and heat it to 95°C
[Application] The maleic anhydride-acrylamide copolymer has high scale inhibition efficiency, good thermal stability, low environmental pollution, high calcium tolerance, wide pH application range, and good synergistic effect.
It is widely used in low-pressure boilers.
, Central heating, hotel air conditioning and various circulating cooling water systems
.
It can be used in combination with organic phosphonium salt
The effects of the amount of scale inhibitor, Ca 2+ concentration, temperature, and the compound of scale inhibitor and other agents on the scale inhibition rate of maleic anhydride acrylamide copolymer were discussed
.
It can be seen from Figure 5-11 that at low concentrations, with the increase of the amount of copolymer, the scale inhibition rate increases significantly.
When the amount of copolymer is 8mg/L, the temperature is 70℃, the reaction is 8h, the concentration of CaCO 3 is 200mg/L, and the scale inhibition rate at different temperatures is shown in Table 5-15
.
