[Preparation]
① Preparation method 1
Take 200 mL of a solution with a formaldehyde content of 30% to 40% in a container, and pass ammonia water under constant stirring.
Heat the above reaction mixture and filter if there is precipitation.
② Preparation method 2
After cooling, the formaldehyde gas obtained by oxidation of methanol undergoes an acetal reaction with ammonia gas in the mother liquor at a temperature of 68-73℃ in the reactor to produce urotropine.
