The purpose of this study was to assess the effects of micro-powdered resveratrol supplements on blood sugar status, lipid distribution and body composition in patients with type 2diabetes(T2DM)researchers randomly assigned 71 overweight T2DM patients (bmi 25-30) to 1,000 mg/day of anti-resveratrol or placebo (methyl cellulose) for 8 weeksMeasurements of anthropometric and biochemical indicators before and after intervention, including lipid and blood sugar distributionresults showed that resveratrol reduced fasting blood sugar (-7.97 x 13.6 mg / dL, p - 0.05) in the corrected model (age, sex, and baseline BMI) and increased HDL (3.62 to 8.75 mg / dL, p - 0.01) compared to placeboIn addition, the average difference in insulin levels is significant (-0.97 to 1.91, sIU/mL, p -0.02)However, no significant differences were observed in the anthrometric methodsthe study surface, supplementing resveratrol for 8 weeks may improve some of the heart metabolism parameters in T2DM patients, but more research is needed to confirm these findings
