In view of the huge demand for yogurt, major dairy companies have seized the opportunity to innovate in terms of taste, packaging and drinking experience.

Borouge’s innovative packaging team worked with bottle cap manufacturers to successfully develop and mass-produce a wide-mouth yogurt cap made of BorPure™ MB6562 through a compression molding process.

Although the lid is small, it plays an important role in the entire yogurt packaging.

BorPure™ series of high-density polyethylene

The high-density polyethylene of the BorPure™ series is a material designed on Borouge's Borstar® multimodal technology platform and specially used in the bottled beverage industry.

Moderate melt strength and flow properties;

Good processing performance, high-speed operation under multi-cavity compression molding machine, stable size, and very low defective rate;

Excellent environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR), so that its mechanical strength is 50% higher than similar products in the market; it can effectively reduce the decay time of internal pressure gas, keep the product effectively sealed, and extend the shelf life;

Good sensory performance, through regular monitoring to ensure the consistency of quality between batches.
