Sinochem News recently, Polyplastics Group (Polyplastics Group) announced the launch of two new RENATUS (R) polyethylene terephthalate (PET) grades to provide automotive exterior parts with excellent mechanical properties, Appearance and weather resistance

These two new glass enhancement grades are RH030 (30% glass filled) and RH045 (45% glass filled), which can maintain its pitch blackness in outdoor environments and reduce the whitening of the surface of molded products, which is very suitable for automotive rear Sight mirror and rear wiper arm/wiper etc.

Plastic resins are generally stronger after being reinforced with glass fibers, but glass fillers can also negatively affect the surface appearance of molded products

It is reported that PET usually performs better than PBT in terms of mechanical properties
