According to Joao Pedro Matos Fernandes, Portugal has received applications
from 64 businesses, including consortiums, interested in participating in the 1,400 MW solar tender.

According to reports, this tender will be divided into 24 bids, 22 of which have received numerous applications, one only received one bidding application, and one was not cared for

Meanwhile, the maximum price for this tender was set at 45 euros ($50.
6) per megawatt hour, and the actual winning bid is expected to drop
significantly due to fierce competition.
The Government is now evaluating the application for the Tender to determine whether the applicant is eligible to participate in the Tender, which is expected to be completed
by 10 August 2019.

twice a year.
