PPG 2018 University Talent Assistance Program Innovates Again

Through cooperation with the non-profit organization "Give to Asia", the PPG scholarship program was established in China in 2003 to provide awards to students in chemical and materials related disciplines who have achieved excellent results in the academic and practical fields of 11 universities

PPG also invited award-winning students from six of the universities to PPG’s factories and R&D centers in Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Kunshan and other places to visit the “PPG Public Day” to introduce PPG and show the company’s sustainability Efforts in development

This year’s “PPG Vocational and Wisdom Lecture” takes the form of two sessions a year, offering courses for 11 universities each in the spring and autumn seasons, and has added new collaborations with Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Zhejiang University and Tianjin Finance and Economics.

"Since the introduction of the PPG Vocational Hui Lecture Hall in 2015, this project has won a enthusiastic response from teachers and students in colleges and universities

The remaining 11 key domestic universities covered by the PPG China University Talent Assistance Program include: Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, East China University of Science and Technology, Jilin University, Nanjing University, Nanjing University of Technology, Nankai University, South China University of Technology, Tianjin University, Wuhan University of Technology and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics

This year, PPG will combine the "Scholarship Award Ceremony" with the "Public Open Day", inviting award-winning students from six universities to visit the PPG factory and R&D center, introduce PPG to them and show PPG's efforts in sustainable development
