Shanghai, April 10, 2020 – PPG (NYSE: PPG) today announced the donation of more than 290 gallons (approximately 1,100 liters) of PPG Master™ Paint interior antimicrobial paint to Shanghai Tongren Hospital for use in the hospital’s Renovation of indoor clinics such as medical laboratories, fever clinics, negative pressure wards, and CDCs
.
The donated paints are PPG Master Paint Audun™ ultra-pure full-effect interior wall latex paint and Zhizhen™ antibacterial and clean-odor full-effect interior wall latex paint
.
Shanghai Tongren Hospital, also known as Tongren Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, is a second-class hospital in Shanghai, and it is also the hospital in Shanghai where the first confirmed case of the new coronavirus was found
