    Dai Xiaoming, a wildlife protection expert and senior engineer of the Forestry and Grassland Bureau of Changning County, Yunnan Province, based on the judgment of the two animals with a wide white band on each side of the neck and the shape of their ears and limbs in the photographs, they were determined to be one.


    According to Dai Xiaoming, the forest musk deer is a semi-arboreal artiodactyl animal.
