    Kazakh News Agency/Nursultan/June 21-The Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Ashar Mamin stated during the joint meeting of the two houses of Parliament on the 21st that in 2021, Kazakhstan will build two meat processing plants and 5 poultry breeding farm

    Among the 29 basic foods , the domestic market supply rate of 11 kinds of food exceeds 100%, the supply rate of 12 kinds of food exceeds 80%, and the remaining 6 kinds of food still rely on imports

    In this regard, a comprehensive plan to increase food production is being implemented
    .
     
    According to the Prime Minister, this year, 35 dairy plants, 2,200 hectares of orchards, 2 meat processing plants, 5 poultry farms, and 4 fish processing plants will be put into use
    .
    At the same time, it plans to build another 70 dairy plants, 4400 hectares of orchards, 4 meat processing plants, 6 poultry farms, 4 fish processing plants and a sugar factory in 2022-2023
    .
    This will enable the domestic market to be self-sufficient in basic foods effectively by 2024

    In May of this year, global food prices rose 40% year-on-year
