    The molecular formula of anthraquinone-1,5-disulfonic acid is C 14 H 8 O 8 S 2 , the molecular weight is 368.

    The pure product is white crystals, and the industrial product is yellow to brownish-yellow powder.

    Anthraquinone is sulfonated with fuming sulfuric acid to obtain anthraquinone-1,5-disulfonic acid and anthraquinone-1,8-disulfonic acid, which are separated to obtain anthraquinone-1,5-disulfonic acid

    Add 275kg of anthraquinone and 603kg of fuming sulfuric acid into the sulfonation reactor , heat it to 120~125℃, and keep it for 4h

    Used as an intermediate for disperse dyes, acid dyes and vat dyes

    (2) This product is low-toxic and is packed in iron drums lined with plastic bags.
