Vaccination of the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) vaccine is a key means to prevent and block the spread of the new coronavirus

On December 22, 2021, Professor Jianqing Xu ’s team from our hospital and academician Xu Jianguo of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention carried out a collaborative study and published an online publication titled “Boosting vaccine-elicited respiratory mucosal and systemic COVID-19 immunity in mice with the oral” in Frontier In Nutrition .

The research team tested and monitored the effects of the GUANKE strain of Lactobacillus plantarum on the antibody levels and T cell responses of mice immunized with the new crown vaccine, and found that the serum binding antibody level of the experimental group mice was 7 times higher than the control group after 7 days, and the neutralizing antibody Increased by 2 times; the binding antibody and neutralizing antibody in the lung lavage fluid were both 10 times higher than that in the control group; meanwhile, the T cell response in the spleen cells and lung lavage fluid cells of the experimental group of mice maintained longer than that in the control group

The Lactobacillus plantarum was isolated from healthy human feces specimens and belongs to the "List of Strains Available for Food" promulgated by the National Health Commission
