    The growth rate of chicken skeletal muscle directly determines the development of broiler industry, with the continuous improvement of chicken production, chicken has become the second largest meat consumer product in China, but China's local chicken breeds are in a weak position in the market, and it is still necessary to vigorously cultivate high-yield broilers

    The results reveal that circGPD2 may play a key regulatory role in the growth and development of chicken skeletal muscle, provide new insights into the non-coding RNA regulatory mechanism of chicken skeletal muscle development, and provide an effective molecular target for molecular marker-assisted breeding to improve chicken productivity
