    Prysmian Group has been awarded a contract by French transmission system operator RTE to provide inspection, maintenance and repair services for the undersea export power cable link connecting three offshore wind farms off the coast of Normandy, France, which will be connected to the onshore grid
    using Prysmian cables.

    The wind farms in Fécamp and Calvados are among the largest commercial wind farms ever built in France, and their smooth operation is essential
    to achieving France's energy transition goals.

    Prysmian's maintenance services will shorten the time of possible supply disruptions due to power outages at wind farms, thus ensuring a continuous flow of renewable energy to French households and businesses
    .
    The agreement will last for 15 years
    .

    The contract will cover Fécamp (2x18 km offshore), Calvados (2x16 km offshore) and St.
    Three HVAC (High Voltage AC) 220 kV three-core XLPE insulated and single-wire armored submarine cables
    at the Nazaire (2x34 km offshore) wind farm.

    Prysmian continuously provides IMR (inspection, maintenance and repair) services to its customers, including preventive maintenance, storage and repair services
    for critical links and offshore wind farms.
