Qingdao Angong Institute new thermal insulation and energy-saving materials are the first to use

Recently, the new long-term and high-efficiency power pipeline insulation and energy-saving materials developed by Qingdao Safety Engineering Research Institute were applied for the first time in Qingdao Petrochemical, which solved the problems of poor waterproofness, easy pulverization, easy deformation and large heat loss of the existing technology insulation layer, and improved the convenience of
the construction process.

Qingdao Angong Institute prepared a new type of high-temperature steam pipe insulation and energy-saving material
through the optimization design of composite multi-layer thermal insulation structure.
The material has the advantages
of high thermal resistance, light weight, waterproof steam, aging resistance, impact resistance and long life.
The application test of the material in the local pipe section of Qingdao Petrochemical Design Temperature of 430 °C shows that the surface temperature of the new insulation material is reduced and firmer, and it has good adaptability in the flange and valve area, which verifies its technical advantages and application potential
