    Gaoligong Mountain is rich in animal and plant resources and is a key area of ​​terrestrial biodiversity of global significance, and is known as the "World Species Gene Bank"


    Duan Shaozhong, deputy director of the Tengchong Branch of Baoshan Management and Protection Bureau of Gaoligongshan National Nature Reserve, said that both Dali Kailan and Kailan belong to the national second-level key protected wild plants, and both have been assessed as "endangered" species by the World Conservation Union.


    According to reports, after Dali Kailan and Kailan were discovered in Tengchong, Baoshan Section of Gaoligong Mountain, the Tengchong Branch of Baoshan Management and Protection Bureau of Gaoligong Mountain National Nature Reserve focused on strengthening biodiversity survey and monitoring, and further improved the detection of very small populations of wild plants.


    Duan Shaozhong said that on-site monitoring found that Dali Kailan and Kailan opened for the first time in Gaoligong Mountain, and both have entered their blooming season
