Relocation and renovation projects of 34 riverside chemical companies in Hunan will receive special subsidies

Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hunan Province announced a special subsidy fund project for the relocation and transformation of chemical companies along the Yangtze River in Hunan Province in 2021, covering 34 projects

In October of this year, the press conference on the relocation and transformation of chemical companies along the Yangtze River in Hunan Province revealed that Hunan Province has completed the closure and withdrawal of 31 chemical companies along the river and the relocation and construction of 3 chemical companies along the river, involving 1,839.

In March 2020, the General Office of the Hunan Provincial Government issued the "Implementation Plan for the Relocation and Transformation of Chemical Enterprises along the Yangtze River in Hunan Province", which clarified that "in 2020, we will focus on closing and exiting outdated production capacity and safety and environmental protection non-compliant chemical production enterprises, and guide chemical production enterprises to relocate through structural adjustments.
