Tea exports Due to the global economic downturn, the world tea export market has remained stable in recent years, with world tea exports in 2019 at 1.895 million tons (Figure 9), an increase of 41,000 tons, or 2.2%, from 1.854 million tons in 2018, continuing the trend of recent years and creating a new high in global exports in the past 10 years.
