Recently, RES announced that it will build a 429MW Murra Warra wind farm
near Horsham in western Victoria, Australia.
It is understood that the construction of the wind farm project will be carried out in two phases, the first phase includes 61 turbines with a total capacity of 226MW.
RES and Macquarie Capital provided equity financing
for the first phase of the wind power project.
The project also secured A$320 million (US$251 million) in debt financing
from financial institutions such as the ANZ consortium, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Sumitomo Mitsui and Westpac.
