In recent years, with the development and application of new transcriptome sequencing technologies and the continuous optimization of computational biology analysis processes, scientists have discovered as many as hundreds of thousands of circRNAs in eukaryot.

Researcher Chen Lingling from the Center of Excellence for Molecular Cells, Yang Li, a researcher from the Biomedical Research Institute of Fudan University, and Professor Jeremy Wilusz from Baylor College of Medicine are the co-corresponding authors of the pap.
