    MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small molecules that regulate all processes in cells, including the transformation of genetic information in RNA or protein (gene expression)


    Researchers Anton Zhiyanov, Stepan Nersisyan and Alexander Tonevitsky of the HSE School of Biology and Biotechnology applied bioinformatics methods to find the answer to this question


    Their research also has important applications for making artificial molecules similar to microRNAs


    The authors of the study proved that this artificially synthesized molecule can also have isoforms
