The cooperation between the two sides in the field of veterinary medicine has achieved remarkable
results.
In order to help the development of Cambodia's livestock industry, on November 9, the ministers of agriculture of China and Cambodia signed a memorandum of understanding on strengthening cooperation on veterinary drugs, veterinary biological products and feed additives; At the same time, the agreement on China's donation of 1 million doses of animal vaccines to Cambodia was also signed, and on December 26, animal vaccines arrived in Phnom Penh, and the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia and the Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries held an animal vaccine handover ceremony

The project of assisting Cambodia's agricultural development plan has been implemented

From January 4 to 6, the General Administration of Customs of China conducted a risk analysis and inspection of longan in Cambodia through remote video; On March 16, the two sides signed a protocol on phytosanitary requirements for the export of fresh longan to China; On May 19, the General Administration of Customs of China issued the "Announcement on the Quarantine Requirements for Imported Cambodian Fresh Longan Plants"; From July 12 to 15, a risk assessment was conducted on longan orchards and packaging plants exported to China; On September 7, the General Administration of Customs announced the list of Cambodian longan orchards and packaging plants approved for export to China; On October 27, the Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia jointly held the launching ceremony of Cambodia's longan export to China; On November 15, the first batch of 338 tons of Cambodian longan landed in the Chinese market, and as of December 21, 2,600 tons of Cambodian longan have entered the Chinese market

From January 20 to 28, the General Administration of Customs of China conducted remote risk analysis and inspection of aquaculture products farmed in Cambodia by video; On March 16, the two sides signed the Protocol on Inspection and Quarantine and Veterinary Health Requirements for Aquaculture Products Exported from Cambodia to China; On May 30, the General Administration of Customs of China issued an announcement on the inspection and quarantine requirements for imported Cambodian aquaculture products, and Cambodian aquatic product export enterprises have also passed the examination of the General Administration of Customs on April 19 and successfully registered
in its "Registration Information of Overseas Producers of Imported Food" system.
As one of Cambodia's farmed aquatic products, pangasius has completed the last procedure for exporting to China and can be exported to China
.

Cambodian corn can be exported to China after completing all the procedures for exporting to
China.
On February 15, the General Administration of Customs of China used video to conduct video inspection and evaluation of Cambodian corn export enterprises to China, and on August 27, the General Administration of Customs of China announced the list of registered enterprises of Cambodian corn exported to China, marking that Cambodian corn has completed all procedures for exporting to China and can be exported to China

Cambodian pepper, bird's nest, coconut, wild aquatic products, edible aquatic animals and other exports to China have been steadily advanced

Pepper: On April 5, the Cambodian side completed the questionnaire on the access of pepper to China and submitted it to the General Administration of Customs; On October 19, the two sides agreed on the text of the protocol; On November 9, the Director General of Customs and the Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries jointly signed the Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for the
Export of Cambodian Pepper to China.

 

Wild aquatic products: On October 2, the two sides drafted a protocol on wild aquatic products, and agreed on the text of the protocol on October 26; On November 9, the Director General of Customs and the Cambodian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries signed the Protocol on Inspection and Quarantine and Veterinary Hygiene Requirements for the
Export of Cambodian Wild Aquatic Products to China.

 

Coconut: On September 23, Cambodia applied to our customs to start the work of exporting coconut to China, and on September 25, the General Administration of Customs replied to the Cambodian side to express its consent to start the relevant work
.

 

Bird's nest: On April 1, China and Cambodia launched the export of
Cambodian bird's nest to China.
On June 14, the General Administration of Customs sent the relevant request for the export of bird's nest to Cambodia, and the Cambodian side is currently preparing a questionnaire
.

 

Edible aquatic animals: On October 28, the two sides reached an agreement on the text of the Protocol on Inspection and Quarantine and Veterinary Health Requirements for Edible Aquatic Animals from Cambodia to China, and signed
it at the right time.

Leaders of the Cambodian Ministry of Agriculture actively participate in international conferences
organized by our country.
On September 16, Hean Vanhan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia, participated in the China-ASEAN Agricultural Cooperation Forum via video; Srey Vuthy, General Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia, attended the China-ASEAN Food Security Exchange Meeting; Somany, Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia, participated in the OECD Roundtable
on Agricultural Development in Shanghai.
