Rubelli intends to expand propylene oxide production capacity

The project is expected to invest 500 million yuan, the construction goal is to expand the production capacity of the existing 100,000 tons/year propylene oxide combined plant to 160,000 tons/year through technological transformation, improve the automation, digitalization and intelligence level of the device, optimize key processes, reduce energy consumption, reduce the production cost of products, and build it into a demonstration project
for the production of propylene oxide (CHPPO) by domestic cumene co-oxidation process.

It is understood that Ruby has the first set of CHPPO production equipment
with independent intellectual property rights in China.
In February 2019, Rubelli's 120,000 tons/year propylene oxide plant was successfully put into operation

In April 2022, Ruby announced that it plans to build Taixing Chemical Company's propylene oxide expansion project, expanding propylene oxide production capacity from 100,000 tons/year to 250,000 tons/year, with a total investment of 240 million yuan

Rubelli said that the project is divided into two steps, the first step is to implement 160,000 tons/year of technical transformation, and the second step is to expand the capacity to 250,000 tons/year
