Food Partner Network NewsRussian media Milknews, June 11: Recently, President Putin of the Russian Federation signed two laws on the production of green agricultural products , and the relevant documents have been published on the Russian Legal Collection website
.

It is reported that the first law introduced the concepts of agricultural products, raw materials, food and industrial products with improved characteristics.
The improved characteristics will be included in the product standardization documents and used as product quality and quantity indicators for agricultural products, raw materials and food, and related testing methods.
And certification rules are formulated by the Russian Federation government
.

The document also stipulates the restriction of the use of genetically modified seeds and the prohibition of the use of ionizing radiation technology in the production process of green agricultural products, and stipulates the relevant requirements for the storage, transportation, sales and national registration of green agricultural products
.

The signing of the second law aims to ensure that the current legislation of the Russian Federation is consistent with the new regulations for green agricultural products, and the relevant laws will take effect on March 1, 2022
