Food Partners Network News Russian Federation Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision Agency reported on August 12: The Agency informed the Russian Federation between August 3 and 9, 2020 imported into the Russian Federation controlled plant products containing harmful quarantine biological information - a total of 51 samples were detected 7 pests to be isolated, as follows: Grapholitha molesta Busck.): 16 cases; Ipomoea Hederacea L.: 2 cases; Megaselia scalaris (Loew): 1 case; Cuscuta spp.): 3 examples; Mediterranean fruit fly (Ceratitis Capitata ( Wied.): 7 cases; Smoke powder lice (Bemisia tabaci Gen.): 4 cases.
all contaminated products are prohibited from being imported into the Russian Federation in order to prevent the spread of harmful organisms from threatening Russian agriculture.
