Food Partner Network News The official website of the Russian Federation Veterinary Plant Bureau stated on August 13: Recently, the local branches of the Kamchatka Krai and Chukotka Autonomous Region under the bureau are inspecting meat products (the producer is located in Volgograd Oblast).
It was found that some sausage products in the electronic veterinary certification system "Mercury" lack information on the source of raw materials, including bear meat, hare meat, roe deer meat, red venison and elk meat

According to the official website, due to the lack of raw material information in the production certification documents, it is impossible to determine whether the source of food, raw materials and their products meet the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union, and the products are potentially dangerous
.

On August 12, 2021, the Russian Veterinary Plant Bureau Kamchatka Territory and Chukotka Autonomous Region local branch decided to conduct an administrative investigation on the related parties of the above-mentioned products, and the illegal products were destroyed
