In the first quarter of 2021, more than 300 tons of surimi were produced on the super trawler "Vladimir Limanov" of RFC Company.
Russia is the seventh largest surimi market in the world, and surimi mainly comes to Southeast Asia.
RFC plans to develop surimi export sales and is studying the global surimi market, but declined to disclose more information.

RFC's ability to switch to surimi production is due in part to the company's newly established modern super trawler with a length of 108 meters.
The 11 new fishing vessels built by RFC, the "Vladimir Limanov" is the first one, completed by the Tersan Shipyard in Turkey, and put into use last year.
The other 10 fishing vessels of the company will be completed at the St.
Petersburg Naval Construction Plant.
