    Russia’s ice cream exports have tripled in the past ten years, from 3,000 tons in 2010 to 26,000 tons in 2020.
    Experts from the Russian Agricultural Bank believe that the export volume of Russian ice cream will reach 30,000 tons in 2021, achieving a year-on-year increase of 15%.
     
    The research report stated: "We believe that the export volume of ice cream will grow at an average annual rate of 5-10% in the next few years.

    Experts believe that Russia should expand its ice cream exports to China.
    China is currently the largest ice cream consumer second only to the European Union.
    In 2019, China imported 25,000 tons of ice cream from various countries (a total of 103 million US dollars); Russian ice cream accounted for 4% of it.
     
      In 2020, the proportion of Russian ice cream in China's total ice cream imports will rise to 5%, reaching 1,000 tons.
    This year, Russia's ice cream exports to China increased by 14% year-on-year, reaching 4.

    Data for 2020 show that in terms of quantity, China is the seventh largest importer of Russian ice cream; in terms of value, China is the fifth largest importer of Russian ice cream.
     
      The data shows that the country that imports the most Russian ice cream is Kazakhstan.
