During this period, China was Russia's second largest importer of animal and vegetable oils.
The data shows that sunflower oil (US$258 million, 218,000 tons), rapeseed oil (US$128 million, 118,000 tons), and soybean oil (US$57 million, 60,000 tons) account for the largest share of Russia’s total exports of animal and vegetable oils to China.
The proportions are over 50%, 29%, and 13% respectively.

In the first four months of this year, Russia’s largest importer of animal and vegetable oils and fats was Turkey, with an import value of US$608 million, three times that of the same period last year; the import volume was 656,000 tons, an increase of 43% year-on-year.
Ranked third is India, with imports of US$92 million, a decrease of 47.
