UK-based bakery supplier Allied Bakeries has adopted recyclable bags for its Kingsmill No Crusts 50/50 bread products
.
The bag, produced by St.
Johns Packaging, is made of SABIC-certified recycled polyethylene (PE)
.
The joint project was officially launched in November 2020, and trials were completed at St.
Johns Packaging’s production site in China in May 2021.
Finally, Kingsmill launched the product in the UK market in September 2021.
