Samsung C&T participated in the construction of the world's largest biomass thermal combined power plant in the United Kingdom

Samsung C&T is mainly responsible for the procurement of major equipment and raw materials required for the construction of the biomass power plant, and expands beyond the existing construction field to expand into new business development directions

On August 15, Samsung C&T announced that the company received a 299 MW-level biomass thermal merger power station project order
from the British company MGT power.
The company formed a consortium with a Spanish construction company with a total engineering operating cost of approximately £650 million

holds 27%, or about £175 million

It is expected that by 2020, the power station will be completed to transmit electricity

Built in Middlesboro, northeast England, the plant is the largest new biomass power station in the world

experience by winning a biomass power plant construction order.
