    12, 2020 /PRY/ -- Scientists from institutions such as Colorado Children's Hospital successfully manipulated bone marrow stem cells to transform them into congenital lymphocytes and natural killer cells in a recent study published in the international journal Science Immunology entitled "Human innate lymphoid cells express express CD48 that modulates ILC differentiation via 2B4 signaling."

    By understanding these factors, researchers may be able to manipulate stem cells and tailor new therapies for children and adult patients undergoing cancer therapy in the coming years, based on the results of this paper, the researchers applied for intellectual property protection around the methods used in the study.
