    A few days ago, the "Science" sub-Journal "Science-Translational Medicine" published a new study from the China National Nanoscience Center


    When it comes to vaccines, everyone is familiar with it

    Someone once wondered whether the surgically removed tumor tissue could be made into a vaccine and injected back into the patient's body


    However, there are risks in doing so-no matter how the tumor is said to be, it is also a product of the body's own cell cancer


    Is there any way to "educate" the immune system so that they can recognize antigens from tumors? Scientists thought that binding these tumor antigens to "bad guys" like bacteria would increase the alertness of the immune system

    Experimental results show that this "hybrid" cancer vaccine can be efficiently taken up by dendritic cells, improve the delivery efficiency of tumor antigens and adjuvant components, and cause powerful innate immune responses and tumor-specific adaptive immune responses


    The official press release of this study pointed out that this nano-cancer vaccine can achieve the effective delivery of individualized antigens, induce the body to produce a specific immune response, and can inhibit tumor recurrence after surgery
