Scientists have revealed the causes of the formation of the yunnan bee plant system

recently, li Wei of the Kunming Plant Classic Classification and Plant Diversity Team of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, taking Yunnan, which is the most plant diversity in China, as an example, revealed the reasons for the formation of the plant system in Yunnan. Based on the geographical distribution of wild bee plants in this area and their systematic development relationship, the research group discussed the spatial distribution pattern of classification group richness, system development diversity and system developmental diversity residuals, and on this basis, the historical biometric information was integrated. The results were published online in the Journal of Systematic Taxonomy and Evolution.

results show that at the genus level, the systematic developmental diversity of Yunnan's bee plant system has a higher correlation with the richness of the classification group, and the plant system in northwest and south-western Yunnan has a high degree of classification group richness and systematic developmental diversity. The study further puts forward the view that different conservation strategies should be adopted for plant systems in different evolutionary processes in order to effectively protect biodiversity.
