Since China's first municipal sewage treatment plant using activated sludge technology was built in Shanghai in 1921, the sewage treatment industry has developed rapidly in China, and sewage treatment processes have also emerged in endlessly
.
At present, the main types of sewage treatment processes used in our country are as follows: traditional activated sludge treatment process, SBR and its variant processes, hydrolysis-aerobic process, A/O and A 2 /O process, oxidation ditch process, AB Process, biological aerated filter (BAF) process, oxidation pond, biological contact oxidation process, Biolak and land treatment process

1 Linpor process
Linpor process is a sewage treatment process researched and developed by German Linde Company, which is derived from the traditional activated sludge process
.
Activated sludge is the main substance in the activated sludge system.

1 Linpor process characteristics
In fact, all effective equipment in the traditional activated sludge process can be operated in the Linpor process system
.
Since the Linpor process is derived from the traditional activated sludge process, the Linpor process system is particularly suitable for improving the treatment capacity of the activated sludge wastewater treatment plant converted to the Linpor process, or when there is no or only a small increase in the treatment capacity.

2 Classification of Linpor process
(1) Linpor-C process is suitable for removing BOD (carbon pollutants)
.
Without increasing the tank capacity, the sewage treatment capacity is doubled, and the effluent quality is improved
Figure 7-1 Schematic diagram of the working principle of Linpor-C process
(2) Linpor-CN process is suitable for removing carbon and nitrogen pollutants at the same time.
Therefore, in order to ensure the progress of nitrification and denitrification, compared with Linpor-C process, the main difference is its design sludge load and volume load Both are relatively low, so it requires a larger reaction tank volume than the Linpor-C process

(3) Linpor-N process In this process, all organisms grow on the surface of the carrier, so there is no need for backflow and sludge precipitation equipment, which greatly saves sludge treatment and disposal costs
.
This process is often used for the advanced treatment of wastewater that is discharged into sensitive receiving water bodies and has strict requirements for the treatment of ammonia nitrogen in the effluent
The process has a simple structure and can achieve a high removal rate of ammonia nitrogen in wastewater when the concentration of organic matter is extremely low or even absent.
Therefore, it is often used for advanced treatment of industrial and urban sewage
