On July 31, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance issued the "Management Measures for the National Fertilizer Commercial Reserve", which unified the original central disaster relief fertilizer reserve, the off-season commercial reserve of fertilizers, and the national potash fertilizer reserve into the national fertilizer commercial reserve.
Facing the high standards and strict requirements of national fertilizer commercial reserve bidding, Shaanxi Chemical Company organized sales and transportation companies to actively participate in the bidding.
The reserve warehouse enhances the company’s ability to resist risks in its off-season fertilizer reserves, effectively solves the contradiction between the continuous and balanced production of fertilizers, seasonal centralized sales and long-distance transportation, greatly reduces storage costs, increases the right to speak in the fertilizer product market, and expands market share.
In order to fulfill the task of fertilizer reserve, Shaanxi Chemical Company carefully organized the reserve work of storage units in accordance with the national reserve arrangements and the provisions of the "Administrative Measures" to complete the 2020 national fertilizer commercial reserve task with quality and quantity.
It is reported that the national chemical fertilizer commercial reserve system was established by the country to ensure the supply and price stability of spring farming chemical fertilizers, as well as emergency chemical fertilizer needs after disasters, and to manage the national chemical fertilizer commercial reserves.
Since its implementation in 2004, it has played an important role in alleviating the contradiction between the annual production of chemical fertilizers and the concentrated use of seasonal fertilizers, reducing the consumption of chemical fertilizer resources, responding to fertilizer market risks, and reducing the impact of disasters on agricultural production.
