On the eve of the Spring Festival, the 300,000- ton / year coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Weihua Group Binzhou Chemical successfully completed the whole process to produce ethylene glycol products, marking the completion of the first set of coal-to-ethylene glycol project in Shaanxi and the formal entry into trial.
On the eve of the Spring Festival, the 300,000- ton / year coal-to-ethylene glycol project of Weihua Group Binzhou Chemical successfully completed the whole process to produce ethylene glycol products, marking the completion of the first set of coal-to-ethylene glycol project in Shaanxi and the formal entry into trial.
The project used includes GE coal-water slurry pressurized gasification in the United States , Dalian University of Technology low-temperature methanol washing, Linde's CO cryogenic separation, Ube methanol carbonylation coupling to synthesize dimethyl oxalate, as well as Japan High Chemical, Zhejiang Liansheng Advanced technologies such as the hydrogenation of dimethyl oxalate to synthesize ethylene glycol jointly developed by the chemical industry.
During the commissioning process, the project, from the gasifier feeding to the production of ethylene glycol through the entire process, was safe, stable and completed in one go, creating the best record in the industry for a complete set of coal-to-ethylene glycol project commissioning.
