Shandong Seawater Comprehensive Utilization Research Center was inaugurated

On September 17, the Shandong Seawater Comprehensive Utilization Research Center was officially inaugurated
by the Tianjin Institute of Seawater Desalination and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Shandong Provincial Ocean Bureau and the Weifang Municipal People's Government.

The research center will focus on the analysis and extraction of all elements of seawater, the development path of comprehensive utilization of seawater, and the coordinated development of the whole industrial chain, and explore the formulation of industrial standards for comprehensive utilization of seawater, and promote the innovative development of
the comprehensive utilization of seawater.

Ruan Guoling, director of the Tianjin Institute of Seawater Desalination and Comprehensive Utilization of the Ministry of Natural Resources, said that the Institute of Desalination will play a role as a bridge and platform to bring advanced technologies in the field of desalination to Shandong, and promote
the experience gained in the field of desalination in Shandong throughout the country.
