Shandong Shihua is mainly responsible for the construction and operation of Sinopec’s natural gas sales and downstream branch pipelines, gas filling stations and other comprehensive natural gas utilization projects in Shandong Province, and undertakes the important task of transporting natural gas from the aorta to the "capillaries".
It has successively cooperated with well-known domestic gas companies such as ENN, China Gas, PetroChina Kunlun, Hong Kong and China to develop the downstream natural gas market.
In recent years, Shandong Shihua has actively responded to the country’s call to “promote carbon peaks and carbon neutrality”, unswervingly promote low-carbon and green development, accelerate energy and management upgrades, adjust and optimize the supply structure, and promote the replacement of new energy in an orderly manner; Transform into a comprehensive energy service industry strategy, and actively develop integrated energy service industries such as smart energy, multi-energy complementarity, energy storage, and energy conservation.
Supported by the environmental protection policy of the local government, the company put into operation 5 gas-fired boiler houses and 2 distributed energy projects in Qingdao West Coast Shihua Company during the heating season, with an energy supply area of more than 400,000 square meters.
On November 4, 2020, the Weifang China Resources Hydrogen Refueling Station, a joint venture of the company, successfully completed the completion and acceptance and entered the stage of production and operation.
