Recently, Shanghai Electric successfully developed the world's first 500 MW water-hydrogen cooled gas turbine generator
.
It is reported that this is the fourth major new product
successfully developed by Shanghai Electric this year.

According to reports, this product adopts the third generation of generator technology, covering the gas turbine "electric island", mainly including the generator body, hydrogen oil and water system, electrical system and other parts, which can be applied to F-class single-shaft gas-steam combined cycle units, H-class multi-shaft gas-steam combined cycle units and coal-fired units

Shanghai Electric said that the company's next step will be to promote the service guarantee work such as on-site installation, commissioning and trial operation of the generator to ensure the successful operation
of the new unit.
