On December 16, the distributed solar power station of Metro Putuo Shopping Center on Zhenbei Road in Shanghai was officially put into operation, with an estimated annual average power generation of 370,000 kWh, accounting for about
20% of the total electricity consumption of the mall.
This is METRO Group's second solar power generation project in the world and the first in Asia, and Putuo Shopping Center has also become one of
the first retail hypermarkets in China to adopt solar energy "spontaneous self-consumption".
The distributed solar power plant has laid a total of 2,800 solar modules, with a total area of 2,630.
6 square meters and an installed capacity of 350 kilowatts

The entire project can continue to generate electricity for more than 20 years, reducing carbon emissions by a total of 909 tons

On-site staff said that according to the current electricity price, coupled with relevant government subsidies, the project can create economic benefits of about 600,000 yuan
throughout the year.
