Recently, the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Congress announced that the "Decision on Amending the Regulations on Food Safety Supervision in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone" was adopted at the 46th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Sixth Shenzhen Municipal People’s Congress on December 30, 2020.
Among them, the specific content of the amendments to the standards for public declarations of enterprises is, “If the food produced and operated by food producers and operators does not meet the standards of their public declarations but meets the national food safety standards, the market supervision department shall order corrections within a time limit and give warnings; If it refuses to make corrections or fails to meet its public statement standards after the expiration of the time limit, the food that does not meet the public statement standards shall be confiscated.
The revised regulations stipulate that the market supervision department should strengthen the sampling inspection of the following foods: the risk level is high and the pollution level is on the rise; consumer complaints and reports are more frequent; risk monitoring, supervision and inspection, special rectification, cases and accidents Investigations, emergency treatments, etc.
