In order to strengthen the supervision and management of homemade beverages in the jurisdiction and create a safe and secure consumption environment, on July 15, the Liantang Institute of Luohu Bureau of Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Bureau launched a special rectification of "Thai-style tea" and other Internet celebrity beverages, and investigated homemade Thai-style beverages.

The law enforcement officers focused on checking the business license of the catering unit of the homemade Thai lemon tea beverage, personnel health management, the purchase of raw tea base, the request for certificate and ticket, and whether the food additives such as pigments and other food additives were added beyond the scope and limit during the processing operation.

At the same time, the Liantang Office and the fast inspection room also actively publicized to the merchants the legal requirements that "the homemade drinks shall not be added with sunset yellow beyond the scope, and artificial synthetic pigments such as lemon yellow and bright blue shall not be added beyond the limit" to the merchants through the WeChat group of the catering units in the jurisdiction and the daily inspection of the catering industry.
