On September 16, the 300,000-ton/year EVA (ethylene acetic acid, vinyl resin) unit of the Gulei Refinery and Chemical Integration Project undertaken by the Tenth Construction Company of Refining and Chemical Engineering successfully achieved the goal of starting construction, marking the entry of the EVA unit with the largest production capacity in Chi.
It is understood that the 300,000-ton/year EVA unit of the Gulei refining and chemical integration project is contracted by Sinopec Shanghai Engineering Company and constructed by Shijian Compa.
The 300,000-ton/year EVA plant is another key start-up project after the 800,000-ton/year steam cracking and 600,000-ton/year styrene integration project of Gulei refining and chemical integration project of Shijian Compa.
