Sinochem News Network News on July 26th, high-performance additives company SI Group announced an agreement with multiple plans to sell most of its global industrial resin business to ASK Chemicals, a portfolio company of private equity firm Rhône Group, LLC

The transaction includes SI Group's industrial resin products and related manufacturing bases in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Ranjangaon, India, and Johannesburg, South Africa, as well as technologies and multiple contract processing agreements that have been licensed globally

SI Group will divest related businesses from these factories, including the manufacturing of rubber and adhesives, oilfield products and surfactants, and foundry products produced in Brazil, and will sign a contract processing agreement with ASK
